The media is having a PARTY with the information on the flu. The government has issued multiple statements about how bad it is going to be and recommending that everyone get the vaccination but there may not be enough. We have seen letters coming from schools and saying the shots will be offered to our children at the school.
To vaccinate or not is a personal decision and one that should be thought about by weighing the pros and cons. To make a decision based on fear is usually not best!
We will be having our Ultimate Immune System workshop 1 month earlier this year due to all the questions we are getting about the flu and what can or ought to be done. The class with be 7 P.M. September 15th at Brimhall Wellness Center! You will not want to miss it! We will cover what you can do....What you ought to do.....and how to prepare your family not only this "Flu Season" but all others.
Do not worry for all of you that are out of state I will be posting what you can do also! But for now remember to take deep breaths, get 7-9 hour of sleep a night, have fun every day, laugh as often as possible especially at yourself, and hug someone you love and tell them they are special!

Back to School! Easy Smoothies!
The party was wonderful. We had a fantastic turnout of over 200 people. Many thanks to all the help from JB Water, the Brimhall Wellness Center Staff, Carl Block for providing the music and all of our wonderful family and friends that came and celebrated with us!
One of the highlights for me was getting to spend time getting to know many of you better while at the juice smoothie bar. Many people have asked me how we make the smoothies so below are a few of our favorite recipes.
Breakfast is the most commonly missed meal usually because of no time in the morning. These easy ideas make having breakfast simple and inexpensive. You can also add different vitamins and mineral in the smoothies so that your children or yourselves do not have to taste them.
By using these ideas you can rest easy knowing you sent your family on their way ready for the day!
